There are only a few places to find Larval Tears and there’s an excellent chance you won’t have found one by the time you reach Renalla. Larval Tears aren’t a very common item, though, so let’s talk about where you’ll find them. You can do this as often as you like, so long as you have Larval Tears to spend. This is a great way to experiment with builds if you find a fun new weapon or a powerful incantation. Doing so means all of your stats are reset to the baseline of your class and you get to reassign them as you see fit. You’re required to use a Larval Tear to be reborn. With the Great Rune of the Unborn in hand, return to Rennala and speak with her. ![]() Instead, she becomes an NPC who hangs out there at the Raya Lucaria Library site of grace. That area’s boss, Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon will drop a remembrance and a Great Rune, but doesn’t actually die when you defeat her.
